The ribs are as good as it gets in Sioux Falls. Withheld the last star because it is priced the same as the big BBQ chains. The sauce took me about 2 bones to appreciate. If you can find it, eat there. No waitress to bother you. Good times.

Great food large portion of ribs; I recommend the rib combo. The corn bread was ok, the beans were pretty good The BBQ sauces were pretty good.

Great BBQ and service! Locally owned and worth the short trip off the interstate to avoid all those corporate bbq joints and fast food.

First impression, not great. Not a very good menu-no multiple meat combo. I sure wish bbq would get with the times, I want to try it all!! I was offered samples, I declined but wish I wouldn't have. Ordered ribs with Mac and cheese and bbq beans. The ribs, good and tender, not very mouthwatering though. Is there any sort of dry rub on these? Good portion size, lots of fat though. Mac and cheese, tasty good but slightly mushy. It tastes great though. The beans had a distinct chili flavor, I like more old fashioned styles. I could see others liking it though. Ill try something else next time.

Sub par. Got a half rack of ribs and a brisket sandwich combo. Neither were particularly good deals, $12-13 each. Neither were flavorful, doesn't seem like they seasoned or any sort of rubs were used. Both tasted like they were cooked in the oven and not a smoker of any kind. By the way, "falling off the bone meat" isn't really the benchmark of good barbeque - you can throw some frozen ribs in a crock pot and get that.

It's ok... A little disappointed after reading other reviews... Beef brisket was fatty and had little flavor. Way too much sauce in slaw. BBQ sauces were very good!

I've had lots of Q in my day, and this was one of the worst. I don't often splurge, but when I do its on ribs. Let me save you some time and money by suggesting to avoid the ribs. Scratch that. Avoid this restaurant. The meat was underseasoned, fatty and greasy. My hand were shimmering with oils and fat, and to be frank, the food straight up was disappointing: COLD cornbread. Boom! RED FLAG. I mean, pop that in the microwave oven for Petes sake. This is NOT bar-be-que and I know BBQ. And this ain't it friend. Folks who say HANDS DOWN BEST RIBS FOOD EVER don't know crap. This food was just awful. Hopefully the new BBQ opening up soon will be a better experience. Oh, and the cashier was straight up out of Mean Girls. Just an added bonus if you want crappy food. Sorry I'm not sorry.

I went here based on reviews from other Yelp folks. I travel on biz and always have to get my BBQ fix someplace in the city I'm in. I ordered the ribs based on reviewers recommendations, along with potato salad and mac & cheese. The ribs were good, not spectacular, meaty but somewhat fatty, with no dry rub that I could tell. There was a good smoke ring, but they still needed some sauce. The service (order at counter) was friendly and the young lady was very willing to answer questions and promoted the fact that everything is home-made. (But they don't raise the pigs there...) The sides were good - I squirted a little hot BBQ sauce in the mac & cheese for some added flavor. But the bottom line - I have yet to be convinced there is any outstanding BBQ north of the Ohio River and Rowdy Hog did nothing to change my mind.

This place is amazing. Maybe it's because I'm from California, but I have never had ribs this good. The smokey flavor is perfect.

Hands down best ribs I have ever had!!! (Unless these guys were out at Ribfest!!) And I recommend the smokey heaven sauce the lather em up with too... Potato salad and coleslaw rival Moms!!

I was surprised by the tenderness and quality of the ribs. They are fall-off-of-the-bone good. A great local place for some great BBQ. The brisket sandwich was also good. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. Be prepared for a messy treat when you stop in!

Went out of curiosity, I love and consider myself a discerning customer with BBQ. Was not disappointed, had the beef brisket combo, and I loved it! The brisket came naked, the dry rub was enough for me, but they offer a limited selection of sauces, bit each was great. Fries were a little too salty but did not detract from my overall satisfaction. Big portions, great value, will be returning!!

I love BBQ. I was anxious to try a new place in Sioux Falls. Big disappointment! I think it's typical from the pictures on the wall bragging of the awards won. They thought "we should open a BBQ restaurant" Hint, go to BBQ country & eat real BBQ! $10.00 for a dry brisket sandwich doesn't win awards.
